Deus Inside
You seem to Me blind to the truth within, that one so exalted twists you inside out
that one such as Me could inhabit the Deus inside your shell.
Things to Me seem clear as day, that none but Me can ignite you
none but Me can entice you
none but Me can delight you
Dance if you want to. Shout until the day burns out, catch love so infectious as mine
You’ll never be the same, such is life when you inhabit My name.
Spirit within you screams to entwine My life to you,
Hold me in your blood until I flood.
Drain all things you held besides the truth.
The Deus inside coils your veins.
hold it until it seeps, bursts at the seams, let it flow, let it loose.
Let the Deus inside you swell.
