Mom noticed a birds heart on our doorstep this am. Howard, our super fat orange kitty left us a present of his affection. She remarked how love shows itself in weird forms. Did he leave the heart cuz we needed love? Did he leave a token to say I love you, thank you? Whatever the reason behind a cat setting aside tokens, be it showing off he did his job, showing love in his eyes meant leaving the best part for his people. He left the heart which is the best part. Maybe we needed it, maybe he prefers the voice box, but love from an animal is an unconditional giving love and its cool when a cat thinks beyond a human concept to give us the best part.
